«Stonewashed» can be understood literally in this case: the fabric after production is washed in very hot water with the addition of pumice and volcanic rock.
The most important advantage of stonewashed cotton is that it looks stunning without ironing. During production, the fabric is treated in a special way, making it look slightly bruised at first. That is the thing about loungewear like this; it creates the impression of stylish negligence, relaxation, homely comfort without effort. Moreover, it saves a lot of time.
The pumice and the volcanic rock, in which the fabric is washed before the loungewear is sewn, cling to the fibers of the tissue, rotor it, making the linen feel velvety, very soft, and cozy.
Stonewashed loungewear has a 100% natural composition without added synthetics.
